A land flowing with milk and honey

Out of Egypt

We see the phrase “out of Egypt” over again in the Old Testament

“…Abram went up out of Egypt…” Gen 13:1

“…And they went up out of Egypt, …” Gen 45:25

The phrase “went up” would imply leaving a low estate and moving higher.

In Gen 47:29,30 Israel made his son Joseph to swear not to bury him in Egypt and said “thou shalt carry me out of Egypt,”

For his sons carried him (Israel) into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre. Gen 50:13

Joseph, prophesied of the children of Israel leaving Egypt and made them swear not to leave his bones in Egypt but to be buried with his fathers.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob
And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.
Gen 50:24,25

YHVH made a covenant with Abram and promised deliverance out of Egypt.
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

“…the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full…”

But in the fullness of time, YHVH found Moses and sent him as a deliverer.

Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. Exo 3:10

YHVH does not want His people in Egypt but strange enough many are attracted to Egypt. Egypt is Mizraim and implies a tight corner, it is slavery and oppression. There is also another very important factor to note. The ayim suffix in Hebrew means dual, that is “two Egypts”. Physical Egypt and Spiritual Egypt.

Pharaoh represents the principality that wanted to keep Israel in Physical Egypt and you in Spiritual Egypt and thus keep you away from your God ordained destiny, the land flowing with milk and honey.

Jesus has triumphed over principalities and powers so that the redeemed of the Lord might come unto Zion.

Knowing that such a great deliverance has been purchased by the Most High, what are we still doing in Egypt?

The beginning of Israel’s history was contending with Pharaoh of Egypt.
Destinies are under fire with all the attending destiny destroyers.

Ministry Land

Hello All,

It has been a while.  I was in Nigeria doing Marathon Crusades for seven weeks. It is always nice to be back home. Please find the pics of the land for the Sun of Righteousness Ministries at Mamu in Ogun State, about 20 minutes from Ijebu-Ode on the Ijebu-Ode – Ibadan road.

We are believing God to break ground next year. Mamu Land Mamu land 2

We plan to have a School of Ministry to raise up men who are willing to preach the gospel anywhere, and especially in our villages that have been neglected. There is an area in Ijebu land with about 200 villages and only 5 Churches.

We plan to build a Community Hospital to help people until their faith can be built up and begin to eat right.

We plan to take village after village for Jesus

Pray for these projects and be a blessing.

The Feast of Exemption

I will also like to call the Feast of Passover, the Feast of Exemption. God spake to Abraham about his posterity:

And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. Gen 15:13,14

Exemption; Exempted; Freedom

YHVH had to make good on His covenant to Abraham and He found the man Moses, whom he made a deliverer.
Moses appeared before Pharaoh with a shepherd’s staff and demanded from him “Let my people go”.
By a series of miracles, culminating in the 10th plague the killing of the firstborn of the Egyptians and thus Passover for the children of Israel, Moses delivered the Israelites from generations of bondage.

The children of Israel were exempted from all the plagues. Giant hailstones pummeled Egypt as asteroids will some day fall on the earth. Water turned into blood as someday all drinking water shall be poisoned with Wormwood. There shall be great slaughter as on the Passover night when atomic fire shall incinerate many.

The big question is “Will you be exempted?”
A very pertinent question now is “What are you exempted from now?”
Are you exempted from sickness and disease?
Are you exempted from poverty?
Are you exempted from curses?
Are you exempted from bondages?
Have you escaped the corruption that is in the world?

Many ignorant people say “we do not need to celebrate the feasts, they are Jewish feasts, they are Old Testament (OT)”. We must celebrate the feast in the light of the reality as understood by the shadows.
Paul did not preach from the New Testament (NT). Things in the OT are types and shadow pictures of better things to come.
If in the OT, there were great deliverances and exemptions in the types and shadows, show me your greater deliverances and exemptions today.

Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
The present truth is Jesus Christ crucified, risen from the dead and what accrues to us as a result of it.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

The purpose of the Feasts is as a memorial and a rehearsal. As a memorial, we consider the victories and the effects of the past. As a rehearsal we consider and act out as true to us now the effect and victories of the past as present realities as we look to future victories.

We must look for the landmarks as we walk on YHVH’s Road Map.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mat 7:14

Have you been delivered, are you being delivered and you shall be delivered. What you are exempted from must characterize the man on YHVH’s Roadmap.
It is a daily walk but the yearly feasts helps us to look at the roadmap and make assessment of our present standing and walk in the path of truth.

YHVH’s Road Map 7

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. Gen 22:1

YHVH SEES

In covenants, you do not take advantage of your covenant brother. However, if you are in need, he is obliged to bail you out or meet any demands according to the covenant.

Abraham saddled his ass and with two young men and his son Isaac proceeded to the mountains YHVH had shown him.

And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. Gen 22:7,8

It took Abraham three days to get to the place. Three days of opportunities to break the covenant or three days wherein he considered his son dead and burnt in the flames and received back to life.
At the very moment he lifted up the knife to slay him, after preparing the altar and tying up his son, YHVH intervened. YHVH provided a substitute. Abraham passed the test and YHVH said “on the mount of YHVH it shall be seen” implying in some distant future IYHVH will provide Himself a lamb on Calvary.

And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. Heb 11:17-19

An incidence of great significance occurred in 2 Kings 3 when the Moabites were to be wiped out of existence. The king took his first born that should have reigned in his place and sacrificed him as a burnt offering on the wall. Read my book “The Power of Sacrifice”.
If the sacrifice of a heathen king brought salvation to him, his household and the rest of the nation, what will the sacrifice of YHVH’s Son do for us?

I would like us to look at this consideration:
Many today will not mind sacrificing their spouse because their marriage sucks and some will gladly sacrifice a bad child. How many will be willing to sacrifice themselves?
The basis of Christianity is sacrifice. Christianity without sacrifice is religion. Apostle Paul said “whether we live or die we are the Lord’s”

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. Heb 13:12,13

This scripture has to do with the offering of the Red Heifer and the big question many Jewish people ask today is “If Jesus was the Lamb of God, why was He not crucified within the temple?” This will be discussed in a latter chapter “Jesus The Lamb and Red Heifer”

YHVH’s Road Map 6

YHVH had Gen 3:15 in view and He must legally come into this world.
Gen 4, tells us of Adam’s genealogy ending in Noah and his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth. Gen 11 picks up the thread from Shem and we are introduced to Abram and Sarai.

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: Psa 89:20

The word “I have found” indicates YHVH was searching for a man. He is still searching for a man today that will do all His bidding.

YHVH searched and found Abram and gave him an offer he could not refuse. Abram obeyed God and he was senty-five years old.
Gen 13:14-17 was a further enlargement of YHVH’s offer to Abram.

The appearance of Melchizedek king of Salem, the priest of the most high God, is of great significance and the blessing where with he blessed Abram.

And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: Gen14:19
Literally he called Abram an heir of God and thus possessor of heaven and earth. If only we can comprehend that YHVH wants to make us heirs of the world, we would pursue the knowledge of God rather than our futile pursuit of the world.

“You will never know who you are, until you know who God Is.”

Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
I am thy shield and I give you the gift of myself EFOV.

Gen 15:9-17 is the most significant chapter regarding YHVH’s Road Map. It was the cutting of the covenant and giving YHVH legal right in the earth realm since Adam sold out.

“In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, …” Gen 15:18

YHVH bound Himself to an oath with Abram in Gen 15 and in Gen 17 demanded circumcision of Abram and his seed and here we see the gentiles are brought into this covenant also through circumcision and in the New Testament (NT), through the circumcision of the heart.
In due timeYHVH visited Abram and Sarai after He changed their names to Abraham and Sarah. The son born to them was named Isaac (laughter). YHVH will cause to laugh all who will come to Him, hear His voice and do His sayings.

In the course of time YHVH made a demand on His covenant partner Abraham.

Samaritan-Passover,-slain-lamb,-tb041106749-bibleplacesAnd it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. Gen 22:1

YHVH’s Road Map 5

“As surely as I live,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live” (Ezekiel 33:11).

YHVH called Abram and made a covenant with him and on the grounds of the covenant, Abram a legal resident of the world can request divine intervention and God can act on legal grounds.

It is important to remember that YHVH wants us to be heirs of the world and the covenant with Abram set things in motion.
Genesis 15 and 17 describes the covenant. YHVH put all at stake for the covenant and swore an oath to make it good.
YHVH made a demand on His covenant friend Abraham when He demanded for the best he had to offer, his son Isaac.

1 ….God did tempt (test or prove) Abraham, and said unto him…Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac,… get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering…And Abraham rose up …and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, ….and went unto the place of which God had told him. …the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid [it] upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, ….Behold the fire and the wood: but where [is] the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said,….God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so … they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son] from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said [to] this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]: Gen 22:1-16

free-vector-beautiful-gift-box-vector_001030_Gifts4Jehovah Jireh really signifies that in the mount of the LORD (Calvary) it shall be seen: YHVH offering His Son as a sacrifice.

With this sacrifice we see the fulfillment of Gen.3:15 and the scripture:

For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, [was] not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. ….to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; Rom 4:13-16

In the process of time YHVH established a priesthood to offer sacrifices from the tribe of Levi and a kingly line from the tribe of Judah.

YHVH’s Road Map 4

The Road Map is revealed by YHVH’s Covenant with Abram.
YHVH called Abram and made a covenant with him. The primary reason for this covenant has been lost by the Church today. My prayer is that you reconsider and readjust your belief system.

Rom 4:13-16 KJV] 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, [was] not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. ….to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed;

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ……..And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal. 3:16, 29

The promise is to be heirs of the world which Adam lost and the Seed – Jesus Christ was to recover all and we become partakers as heirs of the world.

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified (no longer common or unclean but have put on the nature of God) Heb. 10:12-14

On the grounds of the covenant to be heirs of the world; the sacrifice of YHVH; we must begin to confess what He has done and made available to us and make the enemies our footstool.

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Rm 5:17

If YHVH watched over His promise to perform it, and His people in the Old Covenant enjoyed such power and blessings, how can we to whom the covenant is no longer a promise but a reality expect less?

crown_05_vector_161202The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Psa. 110:2

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, 1 Chr.16:21.

We, Christians are heirs of the world and not governments, muslims or Jehovahs Witnesses. Let us begin to reign in life by Jesus Christ.
